There are many causes for dental pain. One of them is wisdom teeth. They are especially likely to cause discomfort when they come in, usually when you’re in your late teens or your early 20s.
Depending on the amount of space in your mouth, the angle of the teeth, and whether they fully erupt through the gums, your wisdom teeth may cause no problems at all – or they may crowd nearby teeth, make you more prone to decay or infection, or even damage your jaw.
Take our quiz to see whether you should get your teeth checked. Dr. Airey can use high-tech tools like our CBCT technology to get a good look at your teeth, gums, and jaws. He’ll determine whether your wisdom teeth need to be removed. He can also perform an extraction if needed.
