Patients are spending too much time at the dentist. That’s right, a dentist thinks you’re spending time much of your free time in the dental chair. You’re spending too many days off of work trying to achieve a healthier, better smile. You’re spending too much time away from your family getting your dental work. You might be alarmed to hear this from a dentist. I assure you that this isn’t an invite to skip dental appointments. Regular dental cleaning and exams although us to monitor your oral health and knock out out dental problems.
My argument is that patients should make the most of their time and select a dental office equip to quickly handle their dental needs.
We’re in a golden age from health care technology, and that means we can complete your dental care faster and with more precision than ever. Today I want to cover some ways you can improve your smile without having to visit the dentist multiple times over the course of a few weeks.
Replace or restore teeth in One Day
Missing teeth or damaged teeth are distracting dental issues. It’s hard to hide damaged teeth or missing teeth in your mouth, and these problems also create a host of oral health issues. As a dentist, I would rather see patients resolve their dental issues during one visit instead of spreading the treatments over the course of several visits. That’s why we have invested in dental treatments like CEREC same-day crowns and dental implants. Whether you have damaged teeth or missing, our Boone, NC dental office can fix your issues in one visit.
CEREC same-day crowns is a new technology that allows us to prepare teeth and place permanent dental crowns in our visit. A traditional crown procedure is completed in about two or three dental visits. First, your dentist will prepare the tooth and place a temporary crown, which you’ll wear for a few weeks. On your second visit, the dentist will place the permanent crown. You may need another visit in the middle if your tooth needs a post. With CEREC, we can do everything in one visit. CEREC includes a CAD/CAM digital technology for digital impressions and on-site milling station for fabrication the crown. The entire process takes about two hours.
Dental implants are placed in the jawbone and then restored with dental crowns, bridges, or dentures. If you are in good health and have good enough jawbone levels, we can place and restore dental implants in one day. We can even remove failing teeth and place dental implants in one day. One of our incredible same-day dental implant options is All-on-4 dental implants. With All-on-4 dental implants, we place dental implants around the arch and then restore the implants with durable, permanent teeth. The BIG advantage with All-on-4 dental implants is that the upper restoration does not cover the palate, which allows you to experience more tastes!
Brighten Your Smile Outside the Office
Some treatments don’t even need to have our supervision from start to finish. One of those is teeth-whitening. Most of us have at least one aspect of our smile we want to change. For many of us, that one thing is the brightness of our smile. Whiter teeth make your smile pop and give the appearance of a more healthy, youthful smile.
Our office works with patients who want to drastically change their smile. Using our whitening, patients have jumped up several shades and even removed years of heavy dental stains. For our whitening patients, we design a custom mouthpiece and then prescribe a whitening gel for you to where. You’ll wear the whitening tray every day until you reach your desired shade. Whitening treatments are affordable and extremely safe. To be a whitening candidate, you need to be free of tooth decay or gum disease.
We want to help you discover your best smile, but we’re also concerned about your time. With the advancement of technology, we can give you a great smile faster than ever. Our office can handle any dental situation in a timely and efficient manner. Call us today at 828-355-5673 to schedule your visit with us.
