First impressions are highly important, and Marie is one of the first people to welcome patients into our office. She works hand in hand with patients to ensure they get all of their appointments scheduled. She also files insurance claims to help patients take full advantage of their benefits so they can achieve healthy and happy smiles.
Dental Assistant II
After graduating from high school, Samm decided to further her passion for dentistry by training alongside Dr. Airey in 2009 to learn skills necessary to be an office-trained assistant. She completed her radiology and coronal polishing certifications at Wake Forest and completed her certification monitoring nitrous oxide at UNC-Chapel Hill. She also completed courses in medical emergencies for the dental office, OSHA and CPR Training, and became a dental assistant II in 2011. She enjoys all types of dentistry, but she especially loves the modern technology integrated into the practice with CEREC same-day crowns and Galileos 3-D imaging. You will see Samm working alongside Marie at the desk, with Leah in the lab, and assisting Dr. Airey. Samm continues to learn and broaden her education through continuing education courses and training. Her personality and smile brings a bright, fun atmosphere to the office.
