BOONE, NC – A comprehensive Boone dental office has rebuilt its website to include more user-friendly features and to be devoted to patient interaction.
The new website, https://appdental.com, was launched this summer and can be accessed from any web browser or mobile device. Dr. Steven Airey, who operates Appalachian Dental Care, said he designed the website to be a more useful tool for patients looking to improve their oral health care.
“We’re happy to provide our patients with a website that can answer their dental questions, but also a place where they can see the results of our work and easily schedule their dental appointments,” Dr. Airey said.
The new website includes information about each of the dental team’s modern services; a smile gallery of dental creations; video testimonials from Appalachian Dental Care patients; and online appointment forms to help patients expedite their dental care. Site visitors can also access monthly blogs written by Dr. Airey about his services and changes in dentistry.
“I have a huge amount of pride in what we’ve accomplished with our website,” said Dr. Airey. “It serves as a constant source of information and a valuable resource for people who have any variety of dental needs. Patients can also expect to find the latest dental information and frequent content updates.”
Appalachian Dental Care, 166 Furman Road, Suite A, is a state-of-the-art facility with private operatories. The dentists, Dr. Airey and Dr. Parke Ladd, are trained to offer a full range of dental services, including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, same-day smiles and restorative dentistry. The practice is proud to offer dental implants for patients with missing teeth, a process they can often complete in one visit.
Dr. Steven Airey, originally from Kansas City, earned both his undergraduate degree and dental degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. After graduating from dental school in 1980, he practiced dentistry in Missouri for 10 years. He then relocated to Naples, Florida, for 15 years before finally moving to Boone. He holds memberships with the Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society, American Dental Association, The Dawson Academy and the Pankey Institute. He trained under Dr. Arun Garg in placing dental implants, and he completes advanced continuing dental education every year.
Outside of the office, Dr. Airey volunteers with the North Carolina Missions of Mercy free portable dental program. North Carolina Missions of Mercy offers free health services to residents in need across the state and has provided thousands of patients with health services, totaling about $25 million.
Dr. Ladd is from Indiana but attended Appalachian State University in Boone for his undergraduate studies. After earning his dental degree from LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, he returned to Boone in July 2016 to join the Appalachian Dental Care team.
