We Call High Country Home — That’s Why Our Dental Team Gets Involved
For a number of years, we’ve been with the community care clinic here. My wife’s a nurse practitioner and volunteers also since she’s in the health field. We actually do dentistry for them. They have grants for people that do not have health or dental insurance or any means to pay for it, so we’ve been doing that for the last five years. We have those people come, and we take care of their basic needs.
The whole dental team at Appalachian Dental Care lives and works in High Country, so we want to help give back to our communities here. That’s why we volunteer our dental services at the local community care clinic and work with the Salvation Army and Mission of Mercy events. After all, we are a family dental office — and the people here are our “family” as well.
